Assignment 08, Joers Jeff




Use of rasterizing and thresholding to create flats from original image in CMYK mode.
Use of gradient, distort, wave warp, polar pinch to create Starburst from square.

Using one of the following images please create a file in Photoshop.
8.5 x 11
300DPI
CMYK

Step 1. import or place image into file, please make sure it is the appropriate size.

Step 2. Please get you image ready for channels by raterizing and then threshholding  the image clearing the CMY channels.

Step 3. Please flat (your image) and post to the blog before next class

Step 4. Next class we will work on adding value, details, and FX.


 




Comic Book Coloring

Scanner = two dimensional original to two dimensional copy
Camera = three dimensional original two dimensional original

Scanner = attached to a computer ... not portable
Camera = can travel the world

Scanner = copy of an original or other copy
Camera = produces original work (can be used to copy documents, art and photos larger that a scanners flatbed in the field).
